Where to stay in Riga? - Gallery Park Hotel & Spa Review

We spent a weekend getaway in Riga and only had one night in this lovely city. To get the most out of our time in Riga we decided to go for a comfortable and central hotel. We also wanted to spoil ourselves a bit. So we decided to stay at Gallery Park Hotel & Spa. It is one of Rigas best and most luxurious hotels yet prices are affordable and definitely lower compared to other European cities. Standard rooms start from 120 Euro where an A La Carte breakfast and Spa access are included in the room rate. Some rooms like the Imperial Suite are priced a bit higher which is understandable (check out the pictures on their page it's incredible!).

The building itself is a 19th century mansion - UNESCO World heritage building, and a Latvian State Monument. So as you can imagine the hotel itself is quite impressive so is the interior design. The location is super central, just a 5 minute walk from Old Town which was particularly convenient since we could stop by at the hotel to get some rest or change.

Our room was a Business Suite which was really spacious. High ceilings and two big windows made it especially bright. türündendi ve epey genişti. The whole theme of the hotel is 19th century luxury. You really feel like in a different era and I really felt like a princess all the time. Another fact I really loved was the constant jazz music that was playing all over the hotel. Made me even more nostalgic.

An A La Carte breakfast is served between 07:30 - 10:30 AM (until 10 AM on weekdays). There is also a small buffet section but the main dishes can be ordered from the breakfast menu where you have a choice of eggs, pancakes, granola, müsli, cold cuts and many more. I especially enjoyed the Pancakes which were served Russian style with jam and cream. When weather permits you can also enjoy your breakfast on the front terrace.

If you want to have lunch or dinner at the hotel they have a beautiful hotel serving Latvian cuisine. Unfortunately we did not have time to try it.

If you are into Spas this hotel is really something for you. Spa access is included in the room rate where you can enjoy the pool and sauna. Of course you can also book a massage or facial if you want to really spoil yourself.

So if you are planning a trip to Riga have a look at this hotel. I especially would recommend it for those who are looking or a relaxing and romantic stay. It's the perfect treat :)
