In September 2025 we headed back to Mallorca to soak up the last days of summer.

Im September 2025 sind wir nach Mallorca gereist, um noch einmal die letzten Sommertage voll auszukosten.

Es war schon unser zweiter Besuch auf der Insel, aber diesmal wollten wir es ganz entspannt angehen. Kein großes Sightseeing, sondern einfach runterkommen und das Inselleben genießen. Deshalb haben wir uns entschieden, ein Ferienhaus über Novasol zu mieten.

Our Villa: S’Estoneta in Canyamel

For this stay, we chose Villa S’Estoneta, located in the eastern part of Mallorca in Canyamel. It was a new area for us, and the villa made the perfect base for a week of relaxation.

Space and Comfort

The villa is large, with five bedrooms that can sleep up to ten people. From the entrance level, all bedrooms look out over the sea. The primary bedroom comes with an ensuite bathroom and a private balcony. Waking up here felt like being on a cruise ship with endless ocean views, and at night we could step outside and stargaze.

Dieses Mal haben wir die Villa S’Estoneta in Canyamel im Osten der Insel gewählt. Für uns war es ein neuer Teil von Mallorca, und die Lage hat perfekt zu unserer Idee von einem entspannten Urlaub gepasst.

Platz und Komfort

Die Villa ist riesig: fünf Schlafzimmer für bis zu zehn Personen. Schon vom Eingangsbereich aus hat man in allen Zimmern Meerblick. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad und einen privaten Balkon. Morgens aufzuwachen fühlte sich an wie auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff - nur mit noch mehr Ruhe. Abends haben wir dort Sterne beobachtet.

Living and Outdoor Areas

The lower level is home to the living room and kitchen, both with panoramic views. The living space opens onto a big private terrace with plenty of sun loungers and a large dining table.

DE: Wohnen und Terrasse

Im unteren Stockwerk liegen das Wohnzimmer und die Küche, natürlich wieder mit Blick aufs Meer. Von hier geht es direkt auf eine große Terrasse mit Liegestühlen und einem großen Esstisch.

The pool was our son’s favorite place to be, and we spent countless hours swimming and enjoying the sunshine.

DE: Der Pool war ganz klar der Lieblingsplatz unseres Sohnes – wir haben dort Stunden verbracht.

One unique feature was the separate office space, fully equipped with screens, a printer, and keyboards. For anyone combining work with travel, this setup makes remote working not only practical but inspiring.

DE: Ein besonderes Extra ist das separate Büro, ausgestattet mit Monitoren, Drucker und Tastaturen. Für alle, die Arbeit und Urlaub kombinieren, ist das ein echtes Highlight - und die Aussicht macht Homeoffice noch schöner.

Evenings at the Villa

Most nights we stayed in, cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or barbecuing on the Weber grill. The nearest large supermarket was just a 12-minute drive away, which made it easy to stock up on everything we needed.

Abends haben wir meistens gegrillt - die Villa hat einen Weber-Grill - oder gemeinsam in der komplett ausgestatteten Küche gekocht. Ein großer Supermarkt war nur etwa 12 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.

Exploring the Area

The location of Canyamel is ideal if you want to explore beaches and towns without driving too far. Within 20 minutes you can reach Cala Gat, Cala Agulla, Cala Rajada, and of course Canyamel beach itself.

We also enjoyed visiting Artà for its weekly Tuesday market, which is full of local produce and crafts.

For dining, the area offers excellent options such as Can Simoneta, Voro, and Sa Pleta. Golf enthusiasts will also appreciate the nearby Canyamel Golf Club.

DE: Unterwegs in der Umgebung

Die Lage in Canyamel ist super, wenn man Strände und kleine Orte erkunden möchte, ohne weit zu fahren. Innerhalb von 20 Minuten erreicht man Cala Gat, Cala Agulla, Cala Rajada und natürlich den Strand von Canyamel selbst.

Besonders schön fanden wir auch Artà mit seinem Wochenmarkt am Dienstag – typisch mallorquinisch und absolut einen Abstecher wert.

Für Feinschmecker gibt es in der Nähe tolle Restaurants wie Can Simoneta, Voro und Sa Pleta. Und wer Golf spielt, wird sich über den Canyamel Golf Club gleich um die Ecke freuen.
