Bali - Afternoon Tea at The Chedi Club

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

I heard a lot about Chedi Club and always saw the stunning pictures on Instagram before we went to Bali. Since I was not staying at the hotel (sadly) we decided to spend an afternoon at the property and enjoy the Afternoon Tea menu. The hotel, which consists of 20 private villas, offers also a variety of experiences for outside guest. On some days there is the traditional Kecak dance performance followed by dinner or in our case the Afternoon tea.

The setting is just stunning. So calm and peaceful and away from Ubud's crazy traffic and tourist crowds. The restaurant is surrounded by rice paddies and on a clear day you can enjoy a stunning sunset from here.

The Afternoon Tea is served on a traditional 'rack' consisting of sweet and salty options. They were all very delicious! Like really all of them. If I had to pick a favorite though it definitely would be the fried Jack fruit.

Afternoon tea costs around IDR 300k p.P. You should also check out their other experiences.

By the way if you have the possibility to stay at The Chedi Club, you definitely should!! It's so romantic and you truly feel the Bali culture come alive here. It's also a great option for honeymooners.
