It's been almost 2 Months since we moved to Berlin and I can say I'm in love with the city. We also have been very lucky with the weather. Since Winters are very cold over here people enjoy every single day in Summer. Parks and Cafes are packed with people and everyone is in a good mood. Of course we spent our first weeks exploring the city and tested many many cafes and restaurants. Our favourite activity is having a Flat White in one of Berlin's great coffee shops. So here are my Top 5 coffee places in Berlin.
1. THE BARN
They have 3 locations in Berlin. The coffee is exceptional. My favourite location is the one on KuDamm. The terrace overlooking the Kurfüstendamm is perfect to have a relaxed afternoon. Don't miss it!
This place is my favorite when in Friedrichshain. I love the interior and they also have a great breakfast. Of course the coffees are also great.
3. 19 GRAMS
They have three locations, one in Mitte, Alexanderplatz and one in Kreuzberg. Bloody good coffee indeed!
4. TYPE HYPE
This place is also a store. Located right in Mitte it's a great and very tasty place to get some rest.
5. SILO COFFEE
Besides awesome coffee this place also has a really great breakfast. Perfect for a weekend chill in Friedrichshain.
