Hotel Review: Radisson Blu Aruba - The Best Place to Stay in Aruba?

We finally made it to "One Happy Island" aka Aruba. I am always thrilled to visit a new country and we start our trip at Aruba's most famous beach: Palm Beach.

Radisson Blu Aruba Beach

Our accommodation at Palm Beach is the new Radisson Blu Aruba in Palm Beach. Opened in 2021, the hotel is located in the heart of Palm Beach and just a few minutes away from the beach.

Come along with me and read all about our stay at Radisson Blu Aruba.

We are staying at one of the One Bedroom Suite Ocean View. The suite is huge and bright. It has a big living room, a dining area and a kitchenette where you can heat up meals or prepare coffee/tea. From the living room you have a big private balcony overlooking Palm Beach. The bedroom is also very spacious with a built in closet and a very comfy bed. Each room has a big TV. With a size of 74.3m² (800ft²) this room is bigger than most one bedroom apartments in Europe :)

We had breakfast included which is served at Sunset Bistro located at the hotels rooftop. It included plenty of choices at the buffet as well as a ready to order omelette station. It was a great start to start the day. We even had live music on some days.

In case you do not have breakfast included, there is a beautiful organic cafe right next to the lobby, called The Clover. Here you will find a broad selection of sandwiches and pastries as well as meals that you can heat up and enjoy in your suite.

The hotel has two pool options: The adults only infinity pool located on the rooftop is beautiful. In the centre of the property you have a big pool area including a kids pool and plenty of loungers. There is also the Aqua Breeze pool bar to grab some drinks or snacks.

As always, we prefer the beach over the pool and spent most of our day at the Radisson Blus beach area. There are beach chairs reserved exclusively for Radisson Blu guests, however they are on a first come first serve basis so it is best to get there early.

The hotel provides a free shuttle to the beach and the ride only takes 1 minute. The beach is also very close and can be reached by foot in about 5 minutes.

The beach bar "Moomba Beach" is the closest choice in case you want to order some drinks/food.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Radisson Blu Aruba. The location is super central and fun. Being close to the beach and all the restaurants in Palm Beach is a huge plus. We did not need a taxi and were able to walk everywhere. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other properties in the area.
