In November 2021 we stayed 3 nights at the brand new Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort. The resort just opened a week ago and we were lucky enough to be one of the first guests.
During and after our stay I received many questions about the hotel because when staying at an All Inclusive Resort, it’s pretty much all about the hotel. You will spend your whole time at the property and have all your meals there so I totally understand that you want to make sure it is good.
In this blog post I will try to give you an idea of what to expect when staying at the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort.

DE: Im November 2021 haben wir 3 Nächte im brandneuen Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort verbracht. Das Resort hat erst vor einer Woche eröffnet und wir hatten das Glück, einer der ersten Gäste zu sein.
Während und nach unserem Aufenthalt habe ich viele Fragen zum Hotel erhalten. Bei einem All Inclusive Resort dreht sich so ziemlich alles um das Hotel. Ihr verbringt eure ganze Zeit im Resort und esst alle eure Mahlzeiten dort, daher verstehe ich voll und ganz, dass man sicherstellen möchten, dass es auch gut ist und sich lohnt.
In diesem Blogbeitrag werde ich versuchen, eine eine Vorstellung davon zu geben, was Ihr bei einem Aufenthalt im Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort erwarten könnt.

Where is the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive resort located?
The resort is located between Cancun airport and Puerto Morelos. It is just a 15 minute drive away from Cancun airport. It’s a beachfront hotel with the Atlantic ocean right in front of you. There are no immediate neighbouring hotels for now, but soon the Waldorf Astoria will open right next to the Hilton. I would describe the area is quiet and secluded.

Das Resort liegt zwischen dem Flughafen Cancun und Puerto Morelos. Es ist nur eine 15-minütige Fahrt vom Flughafen Cancun entfernt. Es ist ein Strandhotel mit dem Atlantik direkt vor euren Füßen. Direkte Nachbarhotels gibt es vorerst noch nicht, aber schon bald eröffnet das Waldorf Astoria direkt neben dem Hilton. Ich würde die Gegend als ruhig und abgeschieden beschreiben.
Rooms at Hilton Cancun All Inclusive resort
The hotel has a total of 714 rooms! So, it really is a huge property. The guest rooms are spread out over two interconnected buildings, both 7 floors high. You have options between ocean front rooms or rooms that face the lush greenery. To checkout all room types click here.
We did stay at one of the Ocean Front King Rooms. As the hotel is brand new the design is very modern and cool. The room was super spacious and bright. I can say that the room really was perfect!
We had everything we could ask for. A big comfy bed, a huge TV, a lounge and dining area, a private balcony with a view on the ocean, a Nespresso machine, complimentary minibar, a walk in shower and all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star property.
The room was also very clean and is cleaned daily (if wanted) in accordance with the Hilton CleanStay protocols.
DE: Zimmer im Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort
Das Hotel verfügt über insgesamt 714 Zimmer! Es ist also wirklich ein riesiges Anwesen. Die Gästezimmer verteilen sich auf zwei miteinander verbundene Gebäude, die beide 7 Stockwerke hoch sind. Ihr habt die Wahl zwischen Zimmern mit Meerblick oder Zimmern mit Blick auf das üppige Grün. Um alle Zimmerkategorien zu sehen, klickt hier.
Wir haben in einem der Ocean Front King Zimmer übernachtet. Da das Hotel brandneu ist, ist das Design dementsprechend sehr modern und cool. Das Zimmer war super geräumig und hell. Ich kann sagen, das unser Zimmer wirklich perfekt war!
Wir hatten alles, was wir uns wünschen konnten. Ein großes bequemes Bett, ein riesiger Fernseher, ein Wohn- und Essbereich, ein privater Balkon mit Meerblick, eine Nespresso-Maschine, eine kostenlose Minibar, eine riesige ebenerdige Dusche und alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet.
Das Zimmer war auch super sauber und wird täglich (wenn gewünscht) gemäß den Hilton CleanStay Protokollen gereinigt.
How is the food at Hilton Cancun All Inclusive resort?
I believe this is the burning question everyone has before visiting an All Inclusive Resort. I have to admit that I had some very disappointing All Inclusive experiences in the past, so I was a bit skeptical. Luckily the Hilton proved me wrong. Most of the food was really good and in general everything high quality and a upscale experience. Let me give you an overview of everything that is included and the different dining options.
What is included? To keep it short: Everything :) All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), all drinks, all snacks, room service, mini bar, really everything. You will receive a resort bracelet, which by the way is super cute, and from that point on you can leave your wallet in the room : ) Some restaurants are walk-in only and for some you need a reservation in advance which can be made through the hotels web app.

DE: Wie ist das Essen im Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort?
Ich glaube, das ist die brennende Frage, die sich jeder stellt, bevor er ein All-Inclusive-Resort bucht. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich in der Vergangenheit einige sehr enttäuschende All-Inclusive-Erfahrungen hatte, daher war ich etwas skeptisch. Zum Glück hat das Hilton mir das Gegenteil bewiesen. Die meisten Speisen waren wirklich gut und im Allgemeinen war alles qualitativ hochwertig und die Restaurants haben ein gehobenes Erlebnis geboten. Lasst mich euch einen Überblick darüber geben was all inkludiert ist, und euch die verschiedenen Restaurants vorstellen.
Was ist inkludiert? Um es kurz zu machen: Alles :) Alle Mahlzeiten (Frühstück, Mittagessen, Abendessen), alle Getränke, alle Snacks, Zimmerservice, Minibar, wirklich alles. Ihr bekommt ein Resort-Armband, das übrigens super süß ist, und könnt ab diesem Zeitpunkt euer Portemonnaie im Zimmer lassen :) Für einige Restaurants müsst Ihr vorab reservieren was Ihr bequem über die Web-App des Hotels machen könnt.

Vela Food Hall
This is the buffet restaurant which is pretty much open the whole day. You can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. We only visited for breakfast and the selection was great. Especially loved the Chilaquiles, my favorite Mexican breakfast dish. There are plenty of seating options with a huge outdoor terrace overlooking the pool. No reservation needed.
DE: Dies ist das Buffetrestaurant, das fast den ganzen Tag geöffnet ist. Hier könnet Ihr frühstücken, zu Mittag und zu Abend essen. Wir waren nur zum Frühstück da und die Auswahl war super. Ich mochte besonders die Chilaquiles, mein mexikanisches Lieblingsfrühstücksgericht. Es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten mit einer riesigen Außenterrasse mit Blick auf den Pool. Keine Reservierung erforderlich.
Maxal
This is the Mexican restaurant and bar which is open for lunch and dinner. While during lunch a variety of street style tacos are served, you have a more comprehensive A la carte dinner menu. We visited both for lunch and dinner and loved it. You also must try the different cocktail creations with local mezcal or tequila. Again, there are both indoor and outdoor seating options. Make sure to reserve for dinner.
DE: Dies ist das mexikanische Restaurant, das zum Mittag- und Abendessen geöffnet ist. Tagsüber gibt es eine Auswahl an Streetstyle-Tacos, und am Abend ein umfangreicheres A-la-carte-Menu. Wir waren sowohl zum Mittag- als auch zum Abendessen dort und waren begeistert. Probiert auch unbedingt die verschiedenen Cocktailkreationen mit lokalem Mezcal oder Tequila. Auch hier gibt es Sitzmöglichkeiten im Innen- und Außenbereich. Ihr solltet unbedingt für das Abendessen vorab reservieren.
Auma
This place was our personal favorite and we visited twice during our stay. It’s a steak house, but also has some fish options. Everything is prepared on the open-fire grill. The food was really high quality, and the atmosphere was great. You must make a reservation in advance, only open for dinner.
DE: Dieses Restaurant war unser persönlicher Favorit und wir haben es während unseres Aufenthalts zweimal besucht. Es ist ein Steakhaus, hat aber auch einige Fischgerichte. Alles wird auf dem Kohle Grill zubereitet. Das Essen war wirklich von hoher Qualität und die Atmosphäre war großartig. Ihr müsst auch hier im Voraus reservieren, nur zum Abendessen geöffnet.
La Luce
This is another A La Carte restaurant which serves Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, we did not have time to try it but the design looked very chique and the menu was very promising. Open for dinner and reservations needed.
DE: Dies ist ein weiteres A-la-carte-Restaurant, das italienische Küche serviert. Leider hatten wir keine Zeit, es auszuprobieren, aber das Design sah sehr schick aus und die Speisekarte war sehr vielversprechend. Zum Abendessen geöffnet und Reservierung erforderlich.
Sunan
This will be the fourth A La Carte restaurant but was not open yet during our visit. It is expected to open in December and will offer Southeast Asian cuisine.
DE: Dies wird das vierte -la-carte-Restaurant sein, war aber bei unserem Besuch leider noch nicht geöffnet. Es wird voraussichtlich im Dezember öffnen und südostasiatische Küche anbieten.
If you still manage to get hungry in between there are plenty of snack option available : )
You have the pool bars where you can order snacks like nachos right to your beach loungers.
Then there is La Churrería which is a very dangerous place if you ask me J Besides freshly prepared Churros you can get different ice-creams and pastries here.
Last but not least, and actually my favorite daily stop was the Azulinda Market Café. Here I got my daily coffee fix. The coffee was so good and you could find all kinds of coffee creations like Cold Brew, Flat white ect here. There are also small snacks available like sandwiches, mini pizzas, salads.
DE: Wenn Ihr zwischendurch immer noch Hunger bekommen solltet, gibt es jede Menge Snack-Optionen:)
Ihr habt die Poolbars, wo Ihr Snacks wie Nachos direkt zu den Strandliegen bestellen könnt.
Dann ist da noch La Churrería, was meiner Meinung nach mich ein sehr gefährlicher Ort ist Neben frisch zubereiteten Churros gibt es hier verschiedene Eissorten und Süßigkeiten.
Zu guter Letzt und mein täglicher Lieblingsstopp, das Azulinda Market Café. Hier habe ich meinen täglichen Kaffee bekommen. Der Kaffee war so gut und man kann hier alle möglichen Kaffeekreationen wie Cold Brew, Flat White ect finden. Es gibt auch kleine Snacks wie Sandwiches, Minipizzen, Salate.
Make also sure to also stop by the Azulinda Lobby Bar before dinner. The bartenders make the best cocktails.
As mentioned before, Room Service is also included, and you can order food the whole day to your room. How cool is that? We did not have the time, nor capacity : ), to try it but definitely would have during a longer stay.
So, to sum it all up: Plenty of variety and options, an upscale experience especially at the A La Carte restaurants and a fun and cool experience. I really enjoyed dressing up in the evenings and explore the different restaurants and bars around the property.
DE: Besucht auch unbedingt die Azulinda Lobby Bar vor dem Abendessen. Die Barkeeper machen die besten Cocktails.
Wie bereits erwähnt, ist auch der Zimmerservice inklusive, und Ihr könnt den ganzen Tag Essen auf euer Zimmer bestellen. Wie cool ist das? Wir hatten weder die Zeit noch die Kapazität :), um es auszuprobieren, würden es aber auf jeden Fall bei einem längeren Aufenthalt tuen.
Also, um es zusammenzufassen: Viel Abwechslung und Möglichkeiten, ein gehobenes Erlebnis vor allem in den A-la-Carte-Restaurants und eine coole Stimmung. Ich habe es wirklich genossen, mich abends schick zu machen und die verschiedenen Restaurants und Bars rund um das Resort zu erkunden.
Activities at the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort
So besides eating all day, what is there to do?
Plenty of things! The hotel has three main pools. There is the main pool, the kids pool with it’s very own water park and the chill pool. We spent most of the time at the chill pool which had kind of a beach club vibe with cool lounge music. On some days there was even live music by the pool.
Of course, you have the beach right in front of you. You can use the hotels canoes and stand up paddle boards for free. And the beach is also great for taking a walk with a long stretch of white sand.
Every evening around 8:30 pm there is a live entertainment show. Either it’s live music or some sort of performance. So this was really fun and we enjoyed these evenings so much, trying the different cocktails and listening to the music.
If you want to burn off some calories there is the gym and some classes and group trainings.
For the kids and teens there is a whole schedule available. All of the daily activities can be seen and booked through the web app.
We personally also enjoyed the complimentary shuttle to the La Isla Shopping Mall which is a 30 minute drive away.
So overall we really liked our time here. It is a resort targeting mainly young travelers and families with kids. We could totally see us traveling here with a group of friends.
The staff was also super fun, and the general vibe was laid back and focused on making sure everyone has a good time.

DE: Aktivitäten
Was gibt es sonst zu erleben außer den ganzen Tag zu essen?
Vieles! Das Hotel verfügt über drei Pools. Es gibt den Hauptpool, den Kinderpool mit eigenem Wasserpark und den Chill-Pool. Wir verbrachten die meiste Zeit am Chill-Pool, der eine Art Beachclub-Atmosphäre mit cooler Lounge-Musik hatte. An manchen Tagen gab es sogar Livemusik am Pool.
Natürlich gibt es noch den Strand direkt vor dem Resort. Ihr könnt die Kanus und Stand-Up-Paddle-Boards des Hotels kostenlos nutzen. Und der Strand mit weißen Sand lädt auch zu einem Spaziergang zum Sonnenuntergang ein.
Jeden Abend gegen 20:30 Uhr gibt es eine Live-Unterhaltungsshow. Entweder ist es Live-Musik oder eine Art Performance. Das hat wirklich Spaß gemacht und wir haben diese Abende sehr genossen, haben verschiedenen Cocktails ausprobiert und der Live Musik zugehört.
Wenn Ihr bisschen Kalorien verbrennen möchtet, gibt es das Fitnessstudio und einige Kurse und Gruppentrainings.
Für die Kids und Teens steht ein ganzes Programm zur Verfügung. Alle täglichen Aktivitäten könnt Ihr über die Web-App einsehen und buchen.
Wir persönlich haben auch den kostenlosen Shuttle zum Einkaufszentrum La Isla, welches eine 30-minütige Autofahrt entfernt ist, sehr genossen.
Insgesamt hat uns unsere Zeit hier sehr gut gefallen. Es ist ein Resort, das sich hauptsächlich an junge Reisende und Familien mit Kindern richtet. Wir könnten uns total vorstellen, nochmal mit einer Gruppe von Freunden hierher zu reisen.
Das Personal war auch super lieb und freundlich und die allgemeine Atmosphäre war entspannt und darauf ausgerichtet, dass alle eine gute Zeit haben.
