Where to stay in Buenos Aires? - Miravida Soho

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

Our second hotel in Buenos Aires was the Miravida Soho Boutique Hotel. Located in a previous home in Palermo Soho, my favorite and to my opinion the best neighborhood in Buenos Aires, this place is realy unique. The hotels location is close to Palermo Soho as well as Palermo Hollywood. Other places to see like the Japanese Gardens or Parque de 3 de Febrero where reachable by foot.

Let's start from the beginning. We arrived and Gabriel received us with a super warm welcome and we already felt the 'boutique' vibe here. He told us everything about the hotel and also gave us really great tips about the neighborhood. Pamela, the general manager was also super nice and warm. She even showed us how to make proper mate. Besides being a great hotel, the people made our experience much more special.

Our room was already ready so we headed up to the second floor to meet our home for 2 nights. We had Room 4. The decor was really cozy and it was one of those rooms you actually look forward spending time in. The big terrace was a huge plus and we spent mornings there to enjoy our coffee and make plans for the day.

Breakfast was available until 11:30 AM and was served on the ground floor. There was also the possibility to sit outside in the hotels yard which we of course did. I can say this was one of the best hotel breakfasts I had and definitely the best I had in South America. You could choose from a variety of choices A La Carte which where prepared fresh. The French Toast was sooo good.

Miravida is not just a hotel but also is a wine bar. They have a very own wine cellar where regular wine tastings of local wines take place. Sadly we couldn't join but if you like wine I really can recommend to make this experience.

Overall, if you like boutique hotels that give you a memorable experience and where you truly feel at home, Miravida is definitely something for you.
